Configur MESS with Snes9x or Zsnesw

    Hi Guys...
    I'm new in this forum... I found it in the links section of Mala FE Website...
    This is my question:


    I'm building a console cabinet interfaced with Mala, with all the classic console games! or better, not all, just NES SMS Genesis and Super Nintendo!


    So this is my problem:
    I chose to use snes9x as emulator for snes games in Mala, but there's a problem, when I click esc to exit game and return to the FE menu the emulator don't colse!


    Just the upper menu appear and if I tap esc again the menu appear again and so on...
    But I would like that if I tap esc button the emuletor shut down and I return to the Mala game list.


    I tried also with Zsnesw but it is practically the same...


    I would like use MESS to emulate SNES, with it I would have such problem, but I have some problems with several games! some not works, and others works not very well, so I decided ti use other emulator as Snes9x or Zsnesw


    How can I do!?!?

    try to use Malas Hotkey function.


    "ESC ---> ALT + F4"


    The Emulator should close without problems then.

    Do you think/know if there's some way to change the hotkey?


    I mean, when the cabint will be ready I will use just the pad to interface with Mala... so, can I attribute alt+F4 to a combination of button on the pad?

    With this tool you can use your Joypad as a Keyboard, similar to JoyToKey but with many more functions. You can also use shortcuts like ALT+F4 on a single Joypad button.


    Maybe mala itself is capable of those functions without using Xpadder, but i am not shure about it.

    Another question guys...just to not open a new 3d...


    Do you know where I can find the artbox, snaps, and video stuff to complete my Mala layout...


    I mean artbox, snaps and video not for MAME but for SMS, Genesis, NES and Snes systems!

    I check on the ArcadeControls.com forum and they suggest me this wich work great to exit Znes and return in Mala menu:


    Just open the Znes.cfg file with wordpad and change the line guioff=0 in guioff=1
    It works great!!!:D
