Tach zusammen,
habe mir auf der Retrobörse in Bochum am Wochende endlich mal ein Vectrex zugelegt. Lief auch problemlos. Am Sontag hatte ich das Ding dann mal geöffnet und den Staubteppich entfernt. Dann nach ca. 8 Stunden Dauerlauf war das Teil platt!!
Der Sound ist noch zu hören, aber kein Bild mehr da. Wenn man den Helligkeitsregler aufdreht ist ein heller Punkt zusehen von dem einige Vectorenlinien ausgehen.
Könnte es sich hier um das White Dot problem handeln?? Habe einige Lötstellen nachgelötet, hat aber noch nichts gebracht.
Scheiße.....das Ding ist so genial......hat einer evtl. ne Idee wie man weiter vorgehen kann??
Service Manual ist vorhanden.
Bin für jeden Tip dankbar.

bottom board. Often units with no picture have bad solder joints on
this connector. Try resoldering the pins and see if that helps.
